    李起林，河南项城人，1939年生于一个偏僻乡村整师家庭，幼年即在父亲的严督下读经写字，高中毕业后教过书，1961年到新疆当过工人，农工，科员，曾长期从事宣传工作。1980年代参加书法交流活动，作品曾在日本，泰国，新加坡，法国，韩国，台湾，香港等国家和地区展出。出版有《艺术大师三人行》，《人民书画三大家》，《向人民汇报——四人典藏册》，《一带一路一国礼》等二十余部书。现为“中国艺术名家研究院名誉院长”，“香港特区文化艺术总会荣誉主席”，“八一画院副院长“，“英格兰皇家艺术基金会”永久学术顾问，”英格兰皇家艺术研究院”院士，”俄罗斯国立艺术家协会”外籍会员终身荣誉会籍。近几年国际媒体，如：福布斯，联合国日报，时代周刊，华尔街日报，俄真理报等颇多关注。

    Li qilin, a native of Xiangcheng, Henan Province, was born in 1939 into a family of teachers in a remote rural area. As a child, he read and wrote under the strict supervision of his father. After graduating from high school, he taught. In 1961, he went to Xinjiang to work as a worker, an agricultural worker, and a science officer, has long been engaged in propaganda work. The 1980s has participated in calligraphy exchange activities and its works have been exhibited in Japan, Thailand, Singapore, France, Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong and other countries and regions. He has published more than 20 books, including“Three masters of art”, “Three Masters of People's painting and calligraphy”, “Report to the people-collection of four persons”, and“One Belt, one road, one country”. He is now the honorary president of the Chinese Academy of Artists and the Honorary Chairman of the Hong Kong Cultural and Arts Federation, “Associate dean of the August 1 Academy of Painting,” permanent academic advisor to the royal foundation of arts, “Fellow of the Royal Academy of Arts, England,” In recent years, international media, such as Forbes, UN daily, time, Wall Street Journal, Pravda, etc. have paid much attention.
