On July 3rd, the news conference for The 2nd Hainan International Tropical Food Supply Chain Expo (HIFCE) was grandly held in Haikou. Attendees include Yang Xingwang, First-Level Investigator of the Consumer Goods Industry Division, Department of Industry and Information Technology of Hainan Province、Lin Chunhong, Member of the Party Group and Vice President of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Hainan Provincial Committee、Liang Qizhi, Third-Level Investigator of the Consumption Division, Department of Commerce of Hainan Province、Ren Hongwei, Deputy Secretary-General of China Fisheries Association、Liu Hairui, Director of Exhibition Department, China National Food Industry Association、 Xu Yachuan, former Inspector of Hainan Food and Medical Products Administration and the President of Hainan Catering Service Management Association、Tang Jiechun, Executive Vice-President and Secretary-General of Hainan Food Production and Distribution Association and Duan Shouqi, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Board of Hainan Yedao (Group) Co., Ltd., who also presided over the news conference.

It was introduced that The Hainan International Tropical Food Supply Chain Expo(HIFCE), has been awarded the China Brand Innovation and Development Project, which is the first exhibition brand in the national convention and exhibition industry to be selected into the China Brand Innovation and Development Project, and it is currently the only enterprise and exhibition brand in Hainan to enter this project. Meanwhile, it has been rated by the China Convention & Exhibition & Even Society as the domestic first exhibition with a primary focus on tropical food supply chain, ranking top in scale within the industry. Due to its precise positioning, HIFCE has garnered significant attention from China Central Television (CCTV), successfully entering into the China Brand Innovation and Development Project. CCTV's prestigious program “Quality China”engaged in a dialogue with the HIFCE, where renowned host Zhu Jun conducted an in-depth interview, sharing the stories and aspirations behind the HIFCE with audiences across the nation and worldwide. The endorsement from CCTV injects robust momentum and promotional highlights into HIFCE this year.

The 2nd Hainan International Tropical Food Supply Chain Expo 2024 is co-organized by China National Food Industry Association、 China Fisheries Association、 China Chamber of International Commerce Hainan Chamber of Commerce、 Hainan Food Production and Distribution Association and Haishihui Exhibition Group (Hainan) Co., Ltd. It receives support from the China-Europe Economic and Technical Cooperation Association、Hainan Catering Service Management Association、 Hainan Tourism and Catering Association and Hainan New Era International Tourism and Food Research Institute. The expo is also co-sponsored by Shanghai Aican Robot(Group)Co. Ltd., and has gained substantial backing from over a hundred international and domestic trade associations & chambers and embassies/consulates in China. Scheduled to be inaugurated magnificently at the Hainan International Convention and Exhibition Center from October 17th to 20th, HIFCE ushers in a new chapter of global food trade.
